Sometimes, I have to say, I am not the brightest crayon in the box. In July this year Ash and I welcomed our little boy, Albert into the world. Albert is our only child (so far) and Ash and I have been well aware of the changes that are thrust upon couples having their first baby.
My husband Ash and I have typically had more similar results from the three colours of love test. A couple of years ago, however, there was one fruit that we differed significantly on. It was joy. I always found that my difficult situations would take over my mind, and with a lack of self-control also apparent I would more often than not get tied up in the situation.
A couple of weeks ago I completed the 3 Colors of Ministry Test and the results came up as Evangelism as top manifest and Suffering as top latent. Proceeding this I read 2 Timothy 4:5 which related very much to these results and to other aspects in my life.
In the first week of the small group part of youth group we introduced the 3 fold God. In this week we specifically looked at the Creator by explaining diferent ways we can see God as creator in our lives today. We looked at passages in the bible and everyday examples from THEIR lives. Here are some words we used to describe the 'green'aspects of God to our youth. -CREATIVE, CREATION (Genisis 1-3) -LIFE GIVING/FATHER (Genisis 2) -JUSTICE/MERCY (Genisis 19) -POLITICAL (Exodus 18:13) -GOODNESS (Acts 5) -WISE (Proverbs 3:19) We found that they were quite excited by the fact that there is much more to God than the 'fluffy'character they thought he was. The green segment caught their attention and they still remember a lot of this particular lesson. Kirras
