BALANCED?
In interpreting the results of the "FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT TEST" done by my wife and I, one runs into a slight problem. Both our test results show very little numerical variance between top and bottom fruits and all of the results are above the average of 100. Thus it could be concluded that we are both fairly balanced in our love profile.
However on closer inspection of the top and bottom factors in both our profiles, there are still some aspects which could be seen to ring true. My top fruit is patience and this would be manifested in me by my considerable perseverance and determination coupled with mercy. Also, never having a love for the process of education or schools, and then actually finishing a medical course and persevering through my working life as a hard working medical practitioner.
The top fruits of patience, kindness and faithfulness in my wife could be seen in her perseverance through my working life, as a patient understanding doctor's wife and very attentive and caring mother. Also her kindness has been and still is manifested by an ability and willingness to give frequent and significant gifts and other assistance to others in need and always completing her tasks fully in spite of frequent bouts of illness.
My wife's bottom fruit, though still above the average is gentleness. She has IRISH ancestry of a significant degree and I feel sometimes that this "IRISH" comes to the surface in the rapid prickly manner she shows, usually in response to my perceived transgressions which I must admit, particularly now that I am more relaxed in retirement, do actually occur.
My lowest fruit of peace could be demonstrated by the fact that I sometimes should be more deliberate in striving for reconciliation when friction occurs. Also I could aspire to more peace by being more attentive to the wishes of others including my wife and to listen more attentively to what she and others have to say.
It has been shown that the 3 Colours of Love "Fruit of the Spirit Test" is very accurate in demonstrating love qualities and deficiencies where there is significant deviations from the average score, but I hope I may have demonstrated its usefulness in cases which show little numerical variance and where the pattern appears to be reasonably well balanced.
