Color Your World with NCD

This Story Board is based on a denominational Profile Plus report. There is a reasonably strong 'positive confession' element within this particular movement. That is to say that expressing differing points of view or constuctively critiquing an aspect of church life can be seen in the extreme as a 'lack of faith'.

In addition, because the direction of these churches tends to be driven very much by the pastor's personal vision, raising different opinions can be seen as questioning the leader's spiritual authority.

Both of these points tend to lead to a situation where expressiveness is greatly encouraged - as long as it is about the good news and not the bad. Thankfully, Jesus came full of truth and grace and these two dimensions are becoming more balanced as this movement continues to make great progress with NCD.
