Small Group Life after Campaign
As a small group leader I was pondering on what we could do in our small group immediately after the Campaign period had ceased. Each member of the group has identified different starting points and all have different next practical steps to take. How do I as a leader encourage movement forward as a group when each person has different areas to focus on?
I was thinking about balance and recalled Christian's comment about Jesus being the only balanced man who walked the earth. I have therefore decided to encourage our group to read the same portion of one of the gospels during the week and take special notice of the actions and attitudes of Jesus that best reflect the areas in our own life that are underdeveloped. We will then come together in our group time to share how the reading impacted us and what we are going to do about it.
