3 Color Cycle homepage

In a perfect world, loving and being loved should be as natural as breathing in and breathing out. Breathing is both an activity that our bodies do automatically—even while we are asleep—but at the same time can be deliberately stopped by us. Like love, it should happen all by itself, but our will has the capacity to upset its natural rhythm which can lead to breathing difficulties or even more dire consequences.

It is often said that “Growth takes time!” Of course this is true. But everything in this world takes time. However, taking time to grow does mean you must be prepared to take all the time available to you—past, present, and future.

The six stages of the Three-Color Love Cycle represent a continuous pathway to growth that encompasses all of the above. Being a cyclical process, you can start wherever you like. What’s more, if growth in love ever drifts off your daily priority list, you can come back to the cycle at any time. This of course mirrors the way that Jesus keeps picking us up no matter what happens along life’s journey.

I have been very active when it comes to my personal journey with The 3 Colours of Love. I was introduced to the book in about 2004 just prior to a church camp focussed on the topic. The picture of me back then is very different to my current picture and I hope to share this with you now.

2004
Highest fruit - Peace (125)
Lowest fruit - Self-control (82)
My circle was small and VERY blue.

This whole exhaling / inhaling thing has been a bit of a revelation.

My starting point is on the green blue side of the trinitarian compass and with church life. A percieving detached believer who lacks faithfulness and self control, but is totally big on the peace and goodness.
